Step back in time to a mid-1860s encampment at the historic Fort Zachary Taylor during the Civil War Heritage Days. Reenactors dressed as Union and Confederate soldiers, craftsman, and civilians bring the Civil War era back to life. Events will include re-enactments of military maneuvers, craft demonstrations, and living history demonstrations. There will be a food vendor located inside the Fort. This event is family-friendly, admission is the cost of park entry. Activities will be scheduled from park open at 8:00 am to close at sunset. Don’t miss the the parade down Duval Street on February 3rd!
